Bhubing Palace (Parte I)

El 25 de diciembre nos juntamos con Andres y Naty y fuimos a visitar el templo de invierno de la familia real. Es HERMOSISIMO. Ya habiamos visitado este lugar (y hay mas fotos acá), pero esta vez fue con buenos amigos y con nuestro precioso Lukas. Con Naty deciamos a cada rato que se sentia como sábado, tan tranquilo. Y para sorpresa, hasta hacia FRIO! Terminamos renovados despues de pasear por aqui. (De paso, notaran que este lugar se llama Bhubing o Phuping - como el nombre original es en Thai, la transliteracion al ingles se hace en muchas maneras distintas).

December 25 we got together with Andres and Naty (they're working in Ubon) and we visited Bhubing Palace. We had already visited this place before (check the two hyperlinks in the Spanish text). You'll notice the spelling changes from Bhubing to Phuping - it's just that there's no official spelling, since the name is in Thai. It was even nicer to visit this place with friends and our baby this time. It was pleasantly cool (surprise!), and it felt like Sabbath. A very refreshing day.

 Esa pollera la tuve que alquilar porque me habia venido en short y no se permite entrar en short. Dani tambien tuvo que alquilar los pantalones. Nos vino bien por el fresco que hacia. Hasta alquile una camperita! He aqui, "La Familia Disfrazada", jeje.

You're not allowed to come in if you're wearing shorts, but they graciously rent you skirts and pants and stuff. Daniel and I both rented - and it's a good thing because it was too cold for shorts! I even had to rent a thin jacket. So here we all are - the "Funny-Dressed Family"!

Daniel enjoyed taking these beautiful pics. I'm glad he's into photography, because most times I couldn't be bothered, but I do enjoy looking at them later!

Encargando "pad thai" para comer. No le sacamos foto a la comida, pero seguro que si buscas en google, te aparece. Es basicamente fideos de arroz, fritos con tofu, huevo y brotes de soja.
